I visited schools in displacement camps around Khartoum, Sudan in February with Education Action. From my visit I realised that more than books, pens and pencils what children need is teachers, trained teachers and these cost money. So on July 8th, along with several brave swimmers, I will be swimming a mile of the Thames to raise money for schools like the ones I visited.
